The Alumni Association’s annual membership dues of $25 contribute to many activities related to Eagle Rock High School. They cover the cost of events including liability insurance and licenses and renting the Women’s 20th Century Club for the Soaring Eagle Gala, the Sports Hall of Fame, and printing programs for Senior Awards Night, where scholarships are presented to graduating seniors. We publish the Eagle’s Scream and inform alumni of upcoming events through mailings.
Each year we purchase the Totem yearbook for the current senior class. Each Totem is then placed in our Alumni Archives for posterity and reference. We provide half of the cost of the senior class plaque each year. The plaque is then crafted of terrazzo and placed on the plaza with other plaques dating back to 1929. This is a unique and proud Eagle Rock tradition. We are also responsible for maintaining the plaques through tax-deductible donations to the Soaring Eagle Education Foundation.
When necessary, we provide matching funds, as approved by the Alumni Board, to support ERHS sports teams who need to replace equipment or have occasional special needs and other student activities.
Your membership fee will also provide students and staff at Eagle Rock High School with enhanced student involvement, contribute to school pride and support alumni activities, which will allow us to be able to carry on the traditions which are so important to our students and members.
